when is payment expected?
I require a deposit upfront (listed in the packages page). Remainder of payment is due once initial revision is completed.
are there any start-up fees?
This depends. Squarespace has a trial period of around 2 weeks, so if it takes longer than that to complete the site, I will need to purchase a 1-month membership to extend this. Additionally, if you need a custom domain this will be a nominal fee needed to secure it . I will purchase it through the Squarespace account I create for you. I will expect payment of these fees if needed.
The desired custom domain will be a question in the intake form, and I will purchase it upon payment. Domain costs can vary but generally it's around $20

I respect your privacy and ask you to respect mine as well. I prefer to strictly use email to communicate. I will not engage in phone or video calls.

I exclusively use Squarespace because I believe it to be the best method to create a fast, simple, professional, and easy-to-use website for you to have and maintain.
can you maintain my site for me?
If you really, really want me to maintain your site, I'm sure I can come up with an a la carte package to support you. However, my goal is to provide you with the tools and knowledge needed for you to handle the day-to-day maintenance yourself. This will include several detailed instructions on how to make frequent changes to your website. I will give you the website credentials and allow you to reset them securely once I'm done.
